Day 113
Foz Du Iguazu, Brazil
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY.
We heard Boston got dumped on with quite a bit of snow today! So in honor of all of you freezing your behinds off.....we decided to spend Valentines Day.....or "LOVE DAY" as Bryce calls it......at the pool.
Our weather report.....95 and sunny. :)
We are so enjoying the relaxation that we are not even getting a baysitter tonight. We have decided to make LOVE DAY.....a family affair.

Hope all you love birds out there are having a good time.

Well, I hope you are ready because we will be celebrating a second love day in Rio.... Why you ask... Well, First of all Valentines day was Kayla's 5th day of fever between 104-106, YES 106, no she did not have seizures but YES mom was so scared. I had been to the MD for the full work up (one of those days when I am so glad I am friends with my pedi as he literally stood over the ladies in the lab to get Kaylas compete results - blood count, strep culture, nose culture, and pneumonia test- in less than 30 min's) It was 100% virus, so nothing to do but wait. Back to "love day". We got DUMPED on, like half a foot of snow ALL day. Poor Zack, Kayla is really sick, I have the mommy version of the bug (no fever but the rest of the symptoms) and Alex is trying to work from home and Zack is trapped - not something a 5 year old boy enjoys. Finally, after I got Kayla to sleep for a nap I took Zack outside and played in the freezing snow building a fort and shoveling the drive. Then came in cooked everyone dinner, did the dishes, bathed the children and snuggled with my poor hot baby. I WANT A DO-OVER in RIO! So prep Brycee, there will be more love to come! The best news is today, my little Kay woke up, sparkle in her eyes, color in her cheeks and a cool 98.6 readout. WAHOO WAHOO WAHOO!!!! We are still going to stay home from school today, I am not risking anything, it's only preschool and we've got our real adventure coming up. Thanks to all who said a little prayer for my babe, the next prayer is that Z doesn't come down with it!
I can't wait to see you all!!!!! Can't wait to be out of this land. As Kayla says, let's get our biteeny's and go to brazil. mommy. I'm ready... whoa yea am I ready! Can't wait for a little first class Brazillian treatment.

I think you are enroute to Buzios now, I can't wait to hear how Buzios is. Did you fly to Rio? Is it amazing when you come out of the airport and see that postcard in person? I truly think it will be moving to see the cristo statuehigh above on Corcovado.
Some business, What happened to Papa? an MRI? Did he fall? I tried to go back in posts but could not find it. hugs hugs hugs from the Hardy's!
