Day 123
SAMBRADROME! RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil
Last night was the final party for the winners parade of The 2007 Carnivale. I will have to let Rich tell you all about it...since unfortunately...I did not go.

Zach was sick.....and I certainly was not going to have my theatre enthusiast, best friend, miss this chance of her lifetime. So, I stayed home.

However, I dont think Rich will have to write much.....because as they say...A PICTURE SPEAKS A THOUSAND WORDS!
You will want to click on these and blow them up to get the full effect.

WOW! I'm sure the pictures doesn't even do it justice! Betsy - you are a good friend!!! Sure Heather was so happy to be able to go and see it. I hope the kids are feeling better.

Sorry I have been MIA - Dave and I went to Liz Hall's wedding this past weekend. It was a beautiful ceremony and a very fun crowd!

Where to now that Carnivale is ending? And are the Hardy's sticking around for the next adventure?
Can't wait to read all about it
Love and hugs!

In one word: AMAZING!

Nate and Teddy LOVE these pictures--we were guessing Bryce's favorite was the Star Wars float!

We just got your post card today from the jungle. Nate is studying the jungle in school so he's going to take it in to show the other kids. He has a shelf in his room where he is displaying Bryce's post cards--only he's upset because he can't find the Macchu Picchu one??

Have fun there,
K, A, N, & T

Hey there,

Wow, they really go all out on those floats, eh? I think my favorite is the Star Wars one, too. :)

It's great that the Hardys are there now and you're able to share all your experience with them. It must also be nice to be in a house for a while instead of hotels.

From a couple posts ago, I have to agree with the Grandmas in bikinis statement. We spent a lot of time on beaches in Thailand and saw way more skin than we wanted to. We also were able to easily identify the American male from the Euro male by the choice of either board shorts or speedos. I didn't know that men actually still wore speedos. I can't look at them without giggling. I also kept looking at various women, saying "Does that bathing suit FIT her?? If I had tried that bikini on, I would have assumed it was too small and they just don't carry my size. Is that how they are SUPPOSED to fit??" Dave assured me that he would prefer that certain women we saw would wear suits that were made of twice or three times as much material. Being comfortable with your body is one thing, but some definitely took it a little too far.
