Day 72
USHUAIA, ARGENTINA
Its actually quite a nice city. Its larger than I expected. A cool, fun Argentinaina City with German influence and a strange "small town Alaska" type of vibe.
This is the jumping off point for all things "Antarctica" so it draws a high-end adventure crowd and is filled with gear shops and duty free luxury goods.
We had a final dinner last night with Kristina and Brendan....our friends from Cape Town South Africa. It was a lovely evening and we sincerly hope to see them again.
One hour into our arrival here we had a hotel and a flight out. (We are getting better at this!)
I won´t say where we are going next...........I will let the picture speak for itself.

Miss you, Love reading the blog, it's like a great novel when you can't wait to get back to your book before you go to bed. I immagine there will be lots of good internet in BA!

Wow! The Cape Horn trip sounded amazing! You guys will love BA. It's one of my favorite cities in the whole world. I wanted to live there the first time I saw it. Glad to see that you guys are having so much fun. Come see us in Miami on your way back North.

I'm so excited about your boat adventure and all you saw. It sound truly incredible. Reading your and Carrie's blogs and all the comments make me realize how extremely little I have been able to see of this world of ours. It makes me feel small and insignificant. I love that I can "be" with you along the way. Your writing about the boat trip has truly touched me. When your mom goes, I'm going with her! After all, I have a couple of empty credit cards. :-)
Love and happy land travels,
Evie

Betsy - I know I'm a day early....Happy Birthday!!!!!! I'll write again tomorrow but wanted to wish you a wonderful day. My guess is your wishes have already/or are in the process of coming true!!!
Looking forward to hearing about BA. I generally lean towards the less populated areas vs cities but from what I've heard BA is amazing. Can't wait to hear about it from your eyes!
Love you all
