DAY 70
USHUAIA, ARGENTINA
Early light brings the lights of Ushuaia and the end of our journey. Back to "Real life". We have no place to stay tonight, no idea where to go next, and ultimately no way to exercise ourselves from this isolated city.
With heavy hearts.....we leave the Mare Australis.
Paula asked, many entires ago, what was the highlight of our trip.
I never answered because it felt so impossible to pinpoint just one of the incredible experiences we have had.
But, now its easier. This five days aboard ship have been magnificent. This is the greatest highlight of an incredible journey.
For the experiences we had.
For the friends we made.
For the beauty we saw.
This has been the adventure of a lifetime.
I have seen and touched things that were previously only words in History Books.

Ok - I have just started to tear up. The adventures I am sure are wonderful but the time you have with your little family is priceless. I am so happy for you all (and defintely envious!!!).
Missing you all very much!

We too are sad, the trip is over so quicky. Our girls asked if we could just turn around and take the boat right back to Punta Arenas. I would do it again if we could!

Rich, Betsy, and Bryce- it was great "sailing" with you. You made the journey extra special. We admire your courage, creativeness, and good humor. Bigs hugs to Bryce and yourselves. Hope to see you all soon in Sao Paulo!
