Day 39
Later in the day.......
Still in LaSerena. Una Problema. Unfortunately Carrie insisted Lonely Planet said the water here was fine to drink. She is learning the hard way this is not true. She is recked with the stomach bug so bad that she can not get out of bed. We have therefore extended a night in LaSerena and plan to head South tomorrow.
I feel terrible for her....but Rich and Dave have been throughally enjoying the beach and the waves and I have not so much minded staying at the apartment playing nursemaid and reading my book while she sleeps all day.
Staying put for a day with nothing to do at the beach doesn´t seeem like the worst thing that could happen to us. They have fast internet here...so..later we will pop up some photos.
